#throwback The Minister of Trade of Indonesia visited a coffee shop called “Dua Coffee” in Washington D.C. Dua Coffee is one of the coffee shops owned by Indonesian diaspora in the US with support from the Trade Attache office and ITPC to become one of the popular coffee shops in downtown Washington D.C.
Trade Minister’s visit to Washington DC
Today’s Agenda of Trade Minister’s visit to Washington DC. Our Trade Minister, H.E Agus Suparmanto, along with Mr. Kasan, Head of Trade Development and Research, and other Delegations, including Head and Deputy Head of ITPC Chicago held a very productive meeting with US-ASEAN Business Council. The meeting was focused on strategy on how to improve bilateral trade between both Nations, discussing current issues, and share the updates about recent breakthroughs in Indonesia’s trade policy. We also discussed about the upcoming US ASEAN Summit in Vegas next month and all prospective agendas that will follow the Summit.

ITPC Chicago witnessed the contract deal being signed, with a value of 900K U$, between a US company, Go Alloy, and Bina Niaga Multiusaha (BNM Steel) one of the most prominent Indonesian stainless steel manufacturer. With the future of trade between Indonesia and the US are in a positive outlook, we are certain that this trade deal is one of many more to comes, and we are in pole position to make it work!
National Restaurant Association Show 2019
The Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) Chicago and the Consulate General of Indonesia in Chicago, exhibited at the National Restaurant Association Show on May 18-21, 2019 at the McCormick Place Chicago. This year, our Indonesian Pavilion featured PT. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk, an establish and one of the market leading players in the consumer branded products sector. Showcased a variety of Indofood’s export products such as noodles, sweet soy sauce, sambal (hot sauce), instant seasoning, snacks and biscuits. All Indofood products are halal certified.

The Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) Chicago and the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Chicago, exhibited at the International Home + Housewares Show 2019 at the McCormick Place Chicago, on March 2-5. This year, our Indonesian Pavilion is titled "Feels Like Home" and proudly featured six Indonesia’s best manufacturers in housewares products ranging from glassware from PT. Work Visit to Iowa
On May 6-7, 2019, H.E. Ambassador Mahendra Siregar along with the Consulate General of Indonesia in Chicago, ITPC Chicago, and IIPC New York made a visit to the State of Iowa and conducted several meetings with the government officials, businesses and association. This visit, not only as an introductory as newly appointed Indonesia ambassador to the U.S., but also to promote bilateral trade and investment relations between Indonesia and Iowa.
